Local Bus Retendering

Good afternoon,

We are writing to share an update on the 2026 Local Bus Retendering Programme. (Supported bus services reviewed ahead of 2026 retendering programme - Shropshire Council Newsroom)

This is a significant piece of work affecting a number of supported bus services across Shropshire. Attached is a briefing note and supporting document, which set out the context, decisions taken, and the changes that will be introduced later this year.

We would encourage you to take a few minutes to read the attachments, as they provide a clear overview of the programme and what it means for local services across the county. Please can Town Clerks and SALC share with their associated members.
